January 1, 2026 - New Years Day

Help us ring in the New Year with our 6th Hair of the Dog Funspiel! 

This event is a Funspiel, which means that our main goal is to have as much curling fun as possible as we kick-off 2026. This also means that there will be no group registrations as we hope this will give everyone the opportunity to make some new friends in our incredible community. All teams will be randomly assigned with the caveat that we will do our best to include a curler who is comfortable with skipping on each team.

Format and Entry Requirements

• $30.00 entry fee
• 8 teams (32 Curlers) - This is a one-day event, so space is limited!
• 8-end games
• 2-game guarantee
• First draw will start at 11:00 am 
• The Hair of the Dog Funspiel Champion will be determined by a quick 10-min shorties game between the two teams with the most points
• Food will be supplied by the club:
  
  • Pre-spiel breakfast snacks
  • Lunch will be provided between your 2 games
• Beer, wine, soda, and snacks are available at our bar
• The "trophy" will be a beat to hell (hungover looking) stuffed dog holding an Advil bottle and a beer can!
